Special Needs Medical Fund

In Honduras children with critical medical needs often die because their families have no money to pay for help.  This fund provides financial assistance for special emergency situations for poor children.

Several children with complicated medical needs have been flown to the United States for surgery, returning home with their health successfully restored.

Children also receive medical tests, lab work and transportation to the hospital in San Pedro Sula.  Because of Bless the Children's 15 years of support to the El Progreso Hospital and the millions of dollars worth of medical equipment and supplies donated, the El Progreso hospital provides many free services to impoverished children referred to them by Bless the Children.  As well, we pay a minimal fee for diagnostic tests and surgeries for these children.

Your donation made to this special fund will help save the lives of poor children.
