Life-Saving Heart Surgeries

In Vietnam young children are dying unnecessarily.  Right now there are over 1,000 children in Central Vietnam with potentially fatal heart defects.  Their parents are unable to afford the necessary surgery.

Imagine your child needs heart surgery to live.  You and your spouse want to save your child but your farming household income for the year is about $400.  There is no health insurance, no possibility of a loan and even if you saved for a whole lifetime, you could never afford the surgery.  You look over at your child sleeping and your breath catches as you see her skin, bluer than the day before, a sign that she will die soon.

Your help is needed today to save a child's life and give them a future.  Surgery fees range from $560 to $5600.  Your one-time gift or monthly donation will help provide life-saving surgery to a poor child in Vietnam.
