Teaching English

Bless the Children partners with IWLE (I Want to Learn English) to operate a 13-station lab serving children and youth attending area schools.  It is located next door to Bless the Children's office in downtown El Progreso.  This learning center is a vital element in helping young people build their skill sets so they can become employed.

Currently the unemployment rate is 35% in Honduras which illustrates the importance of youth learning skills which will lead them to a trade.  Knowing how to speak English opens doors to employment in the tourist industry, as translators and many others.

Your help is needed to continue this program.  Please make a donation to help children break free from poverty.
